Hi all! I realize I haven't been as active as I promised...I can confirm I'm still doing lots of art, but a lot of it has moved into 3D and game asset places, so it gets kinda hard to figure out what to post here. I use my tumblr a lot more. It's at labrattish.tumblr.com/

Where Ya Been?

Not sure how many people still follow me or actually wondered where I went, but Hi. I'm alive. I've spent the last couple years getting another degree and neglecting a lot of things. I have a heap of stuff to post from over the years and I'm going to try and get to that because there have definitely been some pieces I adore and I hope you will too.

I got my new degree as an AAS in Game Programming and am working with a small studio, so I suspect you'll be seeing some of that work--as well as the art I did for our final project--soon, too. I'll make sure to pop a link to the game as well.

So yeah. Nothing monumentally exciting...just a bunch of new skills added and a need to stop neglecting things.

So it's that day again where I get to change my journal to look nice.
I don't really have much to say that's new...I'm taking 3d animation and programming courses which are proving to be a lot of fun and I'll be vending at Realms Con in October.  Other than that, here's the news that's been on my journal before that I feel like showing again.

Have you ever wondered what I do when I'm not arting? Like what I do for money so I can art?  The answer is I'm a research assistant...

BUT what I do as a volunteer is I'm the Editor-in-Chief of Ellipsis...A Journal for Undergraduate Research in the Humanities.

We launched our first volume today!  It can be seen online here.

I designed the website, wrote much of the content, completely compiled the journal and generally went crazy.  I'd love for you to take a look at it.  I'd love even more if you thought you might be able to submit a paper or help with our staff (though, I'm not sure how many of you are undergraduates...).

Sorry about that.  Work is killer.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job.  But it leaves me with very little time for extra things...

So, many of you have noticed "Time's Design" is on way long hiatus...I need to learn to sleep less so I can get it done.  Of all the things I've given up to have a work life, that kills me.

On good news? OMG I HAVE A PIECE OF CLOTHING BEING PRODUCED.  It has my signature in the label.  I have a sample piece and it's just lovely.  It's expensive though...but it'll be up for buying by the general public some time this month here: chicstar.com/storefront/listpr…

It'll be available in black and grey.

yeah.  Just wanted to check in with the new art (there's actually a good deal of art I need to post...so October will be posting month).
